@JudgeDrokk @RetroGamesColl @Retro_Fusion @FusionGameMag @tinyretronews @AmigaRetweets @NorwichAmigaGrp @C64_AMIGA Lots of beautiful graffiti-style hand-pixelled text to be had .. and a nice wee music selector at the end. 👍
@JudgeDrokk @RetroGamesColl @Retro_Fusion @FusionGameMag @tinyretronews @AmigaRetweets @NorwichAmigaGrp @C64_AMIGA Overload 2 is more of a music-selector demo disk. 💾
But it's got some stunning pixel-work along the way. 😎
@ChinnyVision It's amazing how well its graphical style still holds up, after all these years.
😎
@JudgeDrokk @RetroGamesColl @Retro_Fusion @FusionGameMag @tinyretronews @AmigaRetweets @NorwichAmigaGrp @C64_AMIGA I think "Love" doesn't get enough .. love. 😄
Some cool effects done to a beautiful soundtrack.
(Mostly just showing pixel-art, as the rest tends to look a lot better in motion.) 😎
@JudgeDrokk @RetroGamesColl @Retro_Fusion @FusionGameMag @tinyretronews @AmigaRetweets @NorwichAmigaGrp @C64_AMIGA So many good demos and scene disks I saw over my many years with the Amiga. 👍
[avalon, switchback, interference, love] 😎
@000Angus000 @SupernerdsT Hey, I used to be really good at these things!
And I've still got the original joysticks. 🕹️
The only things that's changed is I'm 50 .. 🤔
Yeah, okay .. that's probably part of it. 😋
{mumbles something about a "kids" mode still being a good idea..} 😉
@Retro_CAD @barry_barcrest @zappedtothe Yeah, the jousting was always hard. I only ever got far with Jousting on the C64, where the joystick controls allowed me to position the lance in the right place most times. The timing was still a bugger. And it helped to have the guy strong in jousting. ..But you didn't need it.
@zappedtothe Ah, now I've heard a little more of the @zappedtothe podcast for this week, maybe I should have started with these Defender of the Crown screenshots..
😉
You were spot on with the Amiga version being rushed to market. The C64 version is much more complete. (And the ST one.) 😋
