I only recently saw the Amiga version of Paperboy.
Not too bad. Has that early-Amiga feel to it, but a respectable conversion.

Though I will readily admit the C64 version is ugly as sin in comparison. 😄 Loved it as a kid, but I have no patience these days with its learn-by-dying game mechanic. 🤔

I saw a genuine arcade Paperboy machine once, when I was on holiday in Australia. Damned thing chewed up my credits so quick I gave up on it. 😋

Played the heck out of the C64 conversion though. 👍

I kinda like Way of the Tiger. 🤔 Though, really, it was only the unarmed-combat section of the game I was any good at.

I will say though: The pole fighting is just plain unfair. There is a jumping move. But you're on a log. Any random jump might make you fall off. Stupid. 😡

Star Charts don't get much more exciting than that. 😋
The one time I made a real good go of trying to play it all the way to the end, I got stuck at the code-check with a code in the sheet that was wrong. 😡

Nowadays I have it install with WHDLoad, and the code-check patched 👍

I always love that Arkanoid sound.
Sure, you've got your authentic spinner. But have you played it on the C64 with paddles and that analogue jumpiness for an extra challenge? 😋

Nah, I've got WinUAE on everything. With a virtual hard-drive that I've been finessing for years, with all my favourite stuff on it. 🤓

But I'm really pleased to see this device coming to market. It'll make it so much easier for people less-nerdy than me to get back into it. 👍

Love that wee Time Pilot sprite.
This game had such a cool art style.
(Another game where there was an arcade cab at the corner fish+chip shop. 🐟🍟 So I spent a ton of money on it.) 😁
