@JazRignall @TheGavNinja I kinda like how the slowness of the game would ramp-up the tension at times. Like, when the sentinel had found you, and you were desperately trying to turn around to that clear piece of board. 😁 The Amiga version was beautiful: identical game, with higher res and fast graphics.
@JazRignall Interesting to hear detail on exactly how opinions were divided in the office. I never thought Sentinel, nor Deus Ex Machina, should have been scoreless reviews. They both had objective to try for, and things that harm you, like any other game. It was only different in concept 🤔
@CommodoreBlog That game had an unnecessarily-sexy walk for the Queen. (Which I totally approved of.) 😋
It was somewhere between normal-walk, and the hip-swinging walk of all the sexy girls on GTA Vice City. 😮
@rexthedogge The tunnel part's not so bad. 🤔 Once you know the path to go through it, it's just reacting fast enough for those random enemies that pop up. But yeah, if you haven't worked out the path yet, there can be a lot of randomly getting shot/stabbed. 😁
@zappedtothe Hehe.. Ah yes, those licker-ships. 😋
We all hated them. 😡
They do make for an interesting 'hump' that you have to plan for. ie: try to have minimal entropy, lots of energy (but not so much as to go *boom*), work on that up-down weaving evasion pattern, and dive right in. 😰
