@CommodoreBlog I realise I may have accidentally veered into sounding snarky with that last tweet. (Its hard to walk the line when celebrating brown) 😉 I love the C64s colour palette. It wasn't perfect. But heck, nor were any of the 8bits (except maybe Atari.) Those were the colours we had. 😎
@CommodoreBlog And today's terrestrial landscape, with an abundance of brown (because it's the C64) 😋 is brought to you by the letter "B", and the numbers 38 24 34. (Yeah, you know what I mean.) 😁
@CommodoreBlog Todays awesome array of brown pixels is brought to you by the letters "A", "N", and the number 64.
👍
@CommodoreBlog 🤔 Maybe I picked the wrong game for the "embrace the brown" meme..
😄
@JamesPond47 Yeah. Sorry. I usually try to mention the platform it's on. This one is the proper arcade version, played in MAME. I'm only playing it on keyboard, but the next time I come back to it I'm really hoping to have a spinner set up, for this, Super Sprint, Pole Position, Tempest, etc.
@ResetC64 Also, my one holiday in Australia as a kid, when we were in the big Myer store in Melbourne, I hunted round till I found the computer section, and bought Microprose's Airborne Ranger, and Project Stealth Fighter on disk for the C64. That was the best holiday purchase ever. 😁
@JazRignall And I love the anime-like intro sequence and mission briefings. 😎 (The intro, on the Amiga, can now be skipped with a WHDLoad install, thankfully.) 🤓
