@MarkFGrogan Ha! I finally got a chance to play the 16-bit version again. (Amiga.. haven't had a chance to set-up an Atari ST emulator yet.) That RoboCop ad makes it feel older. 😁 It's harder than I remember. Man, that red-background one is frustrating as heck. Real good conversion though 👍
@The_Top_Loader @SupernerdsT @stewie55uk @LULU6kat @Arcade_Adriano @arcadeattackUK @stevecourtney79 @cindyjacks @DANIELakaDEE @ColonelFalcon @sincespacies @LordDestiny_ The first game I ever tried that had a cinematographic look to it was "Karateka" on the Apple II and C64. Games like that and Another World really stand out. 👍
Did you ever see Flashback? It was like Another World, but with more arcade/platform action to it. 🤓
@OldTechAdverts As I recall, Eagles ruled the distribution-channels too..
😋
I always liked that SSI logo. Stylish. 😎

Stunning looking game. A bit hard, but damn! It was like watching a movie on this wee 7MHz CPU beastie. 😮
@cSportDriving Is that how you chase the ghost of another player? Or you own previous times? I like it having a simple marker, rather than the tradition of a full-size semi-transparent car, which can be distracting.
@DonjonRelic @CommodoreBlog @SyntaxErrorSoft Oh yeah! Actually, I played Ultima III, IV, V and VI on the C64. So I was already addicted to Kenneth Arnold's excellent SID tunes by the time I got to Warriors of Destiny. Long story short, I got hold off a C128 and 1570 Disk drive off a friend. It was gorgeous. Mmmm.. Music. 😁
@MarkFGrogan The Arkanoid games had a lot of good home computer versions. But you really needed mouse or paddles control for it to feel 'right.' I played a ton of Arkanoid 1 on the old C64 with Paddles. I think I've only played Arkanoid 2 on the C64 with Mouse though an emulator. Good game 👍
