@OldTechAdverts Oh, now *they* were good. 👍
(Boulder Dash was excellent too .. but it was a little sequel-ed into the ground..) 😁
@PeteUplink @spd1975 An excellent game, Revs.
I soon bought Revs+ for the extra tracks, and 'intelligent' keyboard-steering option — where the degree of steering auto-adjusts to the tightness of the corner. Then I bought paddles for proper steering, and life was good. 👍
@C64Reloaded Yeah. Not really a transition I remember seeing since.
(Probably one will come to mind right after tweeting this.) 🙂 Now, I really have no desire to revisit the game in depth. As it seems to boil down to shooting random spells at random places on the map. 🤔 But it was fun then.
@dacb_io @THEC64_RGL Still going? Quick toilet break, then back for some⒐ ..then a bit of pipe-fixery with amusing intermissions in ⒑ ..see if you have the reactions of Julian Rignall with ⒒ ..and relax with some shooting/slashing anything that moves in ⒓
👍
@dacb_io @THEC64_RGL 👍
Right, so really you want to start with ① ..followed with a nice healthy dose of ② ..wind down with a little ③ ..and ramp up the tension again with a bit of ④
@C64Reloaded Staff of Karnath was the first Ultimate game I got for the C64. I loved the whole 3D oblique graphic style, and the blank screen with footstep-sounds as you transition between levels. 👍
