@PeteUplink Argh!
Burn it!
Burn it with fire!
(I remember exactly my experience of playing Outlaws.) 😋
@000Angus000 @RetroBrothers It was good. 👍
At the time it was touted as being "arcade perfect".
But now that I can play both, I can see that there were some compromises for the sake of disk-space. But yeah, definitely good. Even very good, if you don't mind me gushing a bit. 😋
@FlightDreamz @CommodoreBlog Mmmmm... Spinners. 🤤
No! Dammit! .. Sticks first ..
@Vengafish @RetroBrothers @MarkRJones1970 Oh yeah, Trailblazer is frustrating as heck these days.
As a kid, I put in the hours and started to become really good at it. ..But these days I loaded the Remember crew's trained version for the C64 instead. Has many many options to disable any tile-types that annoy you. 😁
@000Angus000 @CrazyCollector1 Hey.. That's what the good lord invented Stunt Car Racer for.
@musicvsartstuff Beneath a Steel Sky.
A great point-and-click game with a steam-punk style that feels about right for the setting.
(I'll post some snaps from the intro, as screenshots from the game have been seen plenty.)
@rexthedogge Unfortunately I'd already played Alien Breen II, AGA, and Tower Assault before I finally saw the original. So I had absolutely no interest in it. 😁 It would have been nice to actually see this one first, then I would have had a better appreciation of the progress of the series.
@xotmatrix @MikeJMika There was the Super Zaxxon too.
But I think, even me as a kid found this too hard. 😐 ..Possibly.. It's been a long time. 😁
I'm sure the new Elite128 wants to kill me.
Maybe not the game, coz the game is solid. But my fat-fingered-ness as I was playing it in VICE. I think I quick-loaded a save-state, just after docking, but before saving. The next time I decided saving first was best.. and.. crash! 😮
