@000Angus000 @bastichb64k @EverythingC64 @EC64Forum There is the Amiga Infocom game, which has a nice style to it. But it was interminably hard to work out what to do. After listening to it discussed on the Eaten by a Grue podcast I now realize I'm better off not playing it at all. Should watch some Das Boot again. (Great film) 👍
@dantemendes Speccy version of this is actually pretty good. Nice frame-rate, and some good racing action to be had. 👍
@JamesPond47 The Amiga version did head-bands, which I don't approve of at all. 🤔 I mean, the 16-bit machines were all new, so people had all the colours, so they had to use them. I get that. ..It would be crazy-colourful with suit-colours. Kinda like Legend of the Exploding Fist (Amiga.) 😁
@FlightDreamz @CommodoreBlog Speaking of which:
Why the heck has there been so little decent (retro) gaming out there based on the Aliens or Predator franchises? If we could get this beautiful slash-fest out of Nemesis the Warlock ..so much opportunity for some simple slash/shoot-em-up games based on these..
@metinse7en Yeah. It's kinda disappointing to look at some of the C64 stuff these days and realize "hey, the actual game area here isn't huge at all": Driller, Fractalus.. and particularly Tau Ceti (though I can understand those, for frame rate) .. but The Last V8? Come on! 🤔
@metinse7en @dantemendes @CommodoreBlog @TheGuruMeditate @rip_dean @TonimanGalvez @amaweks @AmigaRetweets Oh.. Did I see someone running past Hoi?
😋
(My vote for most-trippy final level ever!) 😎
@DetectingRetro @rexthedogge How can I play Kikstart 2, when Kikstart 1 keeps caning my ass? 😋
@zekeiddon @Lord_Arse I'm sure if we look hard enough, there is a higher peak to the shadow of the arse .. erm, or something. 😁 If there are any decent game covers using Boris Vallejo artwork out there, there is sure to be a gratuitous grouping of gluteus maximus' to be gleaned. 🤓
