@000Angus000 @C64Reloaded I'm conveniently forgetting RPG's coz, if I'm honest, I suspect more than 90% of my total time on the C64 and C128 was spent playing Ultima III, IV, V, and VI. (Significantly less time on VI, coz it wasn't very good on the C64 IMHO.) Those games were a serious addiction. 😁

Elite was cool. I definitely spent a huge amount of time with it. (And other sim stuff, like Stealth Fighter and Red Storm Rising.) But I did play arcade games like Hunchback a lot too 👍

@C64TimeLine Beach Head is such a brilliant game.
I think I first played it on my friend's ZX Spectrum, which is a remarkably similar version. But, of course, with the extra sound you get on the C64, it's the one I'd go for. 👍

@CommodoreBlog I never really got into a lot of the Bitmap Bros games. But Chaos Engine was certainly one that I spent a ton of time on. I just loved the way it looked. And the gameplay was really intense. 👍

@BitmapsRetro @newIapetus Yeah. There's a point, later on, where games on the C64 were starting to look kinda messy/noisy, with all the detail they were trying to cram in. There was a time, somewhere in the early to middle part where it just looked nice, IMHO. 😁

@ausretrogamer Oh sure, it can do MS Flight Sim.
But can it do F-19 Stealth Fighter?

(That's the first thing that comes to mind, anyway.) :)
