@sam_creighton @teacher_mr_r I read Girl after Sam’s recommendation. It is rather brilliant.
Game of Fox is definitely one of my books of the year so far.
I’ve really enjoyed these as well this year.
@spirotta @sharongosling @theillustratus @Usborne Me too. I had this as a boy. It was the only book I owned. I read it constantly alongside magazines that all seemed to all be about spontaneous human combustion.
Moth was a a fantastic book. Having seen a few spreads of Fox by @isabelwriting and @DanielEgneus this looks even better. I also a bit of a fan of foxes, unlike Moths which absolutely terrify me.
Can’t wait for this to come out.@KidsBloomsbury

@dom_conlon @NosyCrowBooks @BTeckentrup @jonnybid @eenalol @one_to_read @PaulWat5 @f33lthesun @sam_creighton @richreadalot In fact I’m on a bit of a poetry binge. Got this to go alongside the Emily Dickinson picturebook biography I bought the other week...
It’s not often I’m totally blown away by a book.
“The Wanderer” by #PeterVanDenEnde did just that.
It is an utterly stunning wordless picturebook. It’s a story full of bravery, wonder, danger and imagination. Just Wow!
Thanks @PushkinPress (out October 1st)

“The Ocean Calls” by @TinaMCho and @jessxsnow. An inter-generational story about the haenyeo (Korean women divers). It’s about trust, love and overcoming our fears. A great story with some mind-blowing art. (I want a Jess X. Snow mural in my school) #PictureBookPage
