@FurzlandMark This is one of my favourite picturebook illustrations ever. Love that book.
@OlkimGar @Toriaclaire @richreadalot @_Reading_Rocks_ @RLloydJones @philipreeve1 Finally I’ll shout out about @RossAuthor. His books are just fantastic, exciting, magical and more than a bit scary.
@miss_tebbs I’d start with the Hilda books from @FlyingEyeBooks. Sure @PaulWat5 and @RuddickRichard will help though...
@teacher_mr_r @KateHeap1 @wishesandstars @ms_manak @MrHtheteacher @TsuiAllen @sara13librarian @emmakuyateh @katehitchings1 @MissS_Kimble @Mat_at_Brookes @jonnybid @one_to_read @sam_creighton @PaulWat5 They’d have had a pretty fine reading experience if by the time they left KS2 they’d had these read to them.
@KookieB9 I will always recommend Wolves by Emily Gravett. One of my absolute favourite picturebooks. Text is non-fiction, pictures tell story. It’s utterly brilliant. (Obviously Mammals, carnivores, herbivores)
@LTeacher123 @sparklefairy86 @ClaireRidsdale @dc_litchfield @NickSharratt1 @KarlDuke8 @Rosemarycalm Here’s a few for starters...
Well this is a little bit special.
“Freedom We Sing” by @amyraleon and @thisismollym is a stunning poem about the true meaning of freedom as told by a mother to her child. It is a book filled with hope and magic powered by beautiful words and astounding art. #picturebookpage
