Going on a 9 day vacation tomorrow, so i thought I'd give a quick update. I've been experimenting with various hair placement techniques in Maya using the gs curve tool on half of the head and will make the final mesh when i return- lookdev in UE5 (18,000 Tris)

The vertex data lookdev experiments continue, now using substance designer as an intermediary

Been slowly making some work on Lookdev and some writing! Went back in and worked on Jade's textures to add more brushstrokes to the look.
