Q: What software did you use to create the backgrounds for the game? And why?
A: Ballpoint pen, Photoshop, Blender, A little Maya and Photoshop again. Unity to top it all off. In that order and because those we had judged to be the best tools for the job, for us.

i started by drawing the polygons i was planning to create, then I opened blender and drew the textures as i finished each piece of geometry. the different colors are the different parts of the model. i really wanted to see how much i could push low poly (2/5)

This model made me remember that i still need good topology for good blendshapes... Its a bit hard to do on low poly though, I'll do better next time.
