You may have caught these and other of my reconstructions quickly shown in the bonus content of #PrehistoricPlanet Episode 3.
No, this is NOT what I did for the series, you will have to wait to see that

I can’t believe it’s been over a year and a half since my reconstructions of various dinosaurs appeared in the October 2020 issue of National Geographic Mag “Reimagining Dinosaurs”!!!

Longipterygidae is a group of #enantiornithine birds famous for their long jaws with teeth only at the very end. As no member of the group has a fossil with a complete skull, we created reconstructions based on several specimens (different colors in the image).
I have created a collection on @foundation to gather different pieces that I create.
Each piece in the collection works with different concepts and meanings. 🌒
The first one is "Reconstruction".

I get they are weird lab hybrids and all, but c'mon, look at a real reconstruction of a pyroraptor in comparison and tell me that guy got the same inaccuracies the T-Rex had in comparison to the reconstructions of the real animal from the same year JP was released.
@CarSlayer True, quite the distinctive bunch in that piece (and the later reconstruction)!
