Trying to express why I adore Mega Man X so much. It's the texture. It can't be mistaken for other futuristic run n gun platformers. Its world is storied, its characters extant prior to the game's start, full of mystery. It is tangibly Mega Man X, nothing else, not even Rockman.

Sonic Adventure-7/10

It has a lot of 90s platformer jank, but I still think it's fun minus Big's gameplay. Quite frankly, none of the ports ever reached the same level of quality and always look worse than the original.

Also, this soundtrack fucks.

Just beat Klonoa 1 remake today and it was such an impressive game. Solid controls and fun level design, and such a cool story. Do yourself a favour, this is one of the best 2D platformers out there, do not sleep on this you can come back to Sonic another day
