I recognize that dress! Soon it will be available for much more experimentation! https://t.co/t5S2X6TfYV

The Cyber Boots are slowly being joined by the rest of the Cyber Girl outfit! Still got some rig tuning to do to prevent stretching. Also, this will be released at some point to help fund the development of BEER render engine!

Line tests so far. 1st is using 's Outline Node Build + Bevel based internal lines, 2nd is inverted hull+bevel lines. This is Cycles because bevel only works there, but it can be baked to use in eevee since these don't deform much

Cyber Boot buckles, clamps, tread, etc. Going for a contrast of hard surface metal, cloth, and rubber. Which part is what? I'm not sure yet! But I think that's a silly enough level of detail. Time to move on to the rest of the outfit!

As the universe infinitely expands, so too does the complexity of the Cyber Boots. What are they made of? Are those buckles or clasps? How do they open? Many such questions plague the Cyber Boots, but the wise know better than to ask.

Starting on a new outfit/character. First is a simple and clean rig for a short dress/skirt. Uses a few modifiers and some drivers, but no extra bones. Very easy to make, and handles all but the most extreme poses

Altered normals baked to 2 maps, one with jaw open, and a driver between the two. It works fine, but for some reason the normal maps are producing terrible artifacts/glitches at the edge of the shading. No idea why, its not in the map itself. Anyone know?

Hello ! I make 3D stuff that looks 2D with . It's more tech demos than art at this point, but we'll see where it goes.
I also make tutorials on https://t.co/X6w3OvuWtZ

After much research and development, calling this test pose finished! I learned Python to rig that hair. Should I do another character, or a scene for this one next? Or finally get around to some YouTube content?

Closing in on the home stretch. Brought in proper occlusion shadows from Cycles, made the shading toonier in most places to match the thick lines, and starting to think about a background.
