@cvburkett @paleochick considering that the ornithomimosaurs were around for over a hundred million years on most if not all of the continents and ranged in size from turkeysize to whatever the hell you might compare Deinocheirus to, i bet there were at some time & place some road runner-y ones.
How many #paleontology people @2019NAPC #NAPC2019 would be interested in an informal meet up & sketch day at the @LAZoo, looking at & sketching modern animals from a #paleoart perspective?

You can learn more about this art and find links to the scientific papers describing #Dynamoterror and #Invictarx on my website: https://t.co/MtYiDpa3Ke
If you want to see all the details at the scale I drew them, a big ol print of my #Megacoelacanthus #art will also be on display at the #PicturingThePastSVP #paleoart show at @NMMNHS_Paleo #2018SVP #Palaeoart
shoutouts @clepsydrops & @Mosasaurologist
dumped some color on this #Prionochelys vs #Squalicorax as part of my mad campaign to ruin @Mosasaurologist's monday with #SavageAncientSeas #turtle kiosk revisions.
Just posted an early look of a new big piece of #paleoart for #SavageAncientSeas to https://t.co/lBYhAO4idt, along with a pretty extensive explanation of all of the crazy shit going on in it. Here's a couple tiny tiny details from the larger piece:
