@emmakuyateh @MissS_Kimble @TyildS @teacher_mr_r @jonnybid @one_to_read @MrHtheteacher @wishesandstars @MrEPrimary @BookSuperhero2 Brilliant! I've not made it as far as The Skylarks' War yet, so I have all that to look forward to.
Pleased to report the next book is all written, so I'm actually working on the one after that at the minute!
I'm in awe of how many books the good people of Twitter seem to get through and the speed at which they do it, so...
1. How long does it take you to read an average-length novel?
2. When do you read / how do you fit it in?
3. And how long do you read for in one sitting?
Probably not an understatement to say that was a bit of a life-changing moment.
Since then I've gone on to write my university dissertation on Stan Lee and my first published children's novel was about superheroes.
@TheRealStanLee @Marvel

I went on to get an English Lit degree and now I get to teach reading and writing to kids - and even write the occasional book.
Plus, you know, superheroes are cool.

@teacher_mr_r @TsuiAllen @richreadalot @jonnybid @Misterbodd @emmakuyateh @wishesandstars @karen_wallee @jenniferob81 @EduMsfb Fantasy / steampunk is a good entry point by which to get kids interested in history, like Wildspark and Cogheart. Not historically accurate by any means, but fabulous stories that will capture their imaginations and motivate them to find out more.

Can we look forward to a deluge of virus / outbreak / quarantine / zombie-apocalypse stories hitting bookshops after this?
Or might it go in a completely different direction and maybe we'll get lots of light-hearted, optimistic, funny books instead?
@Louiestowell @sophieinspace @kierongillen @McKelvie Have you read the original run by Heinberg / Cheung? Never had the pleasure, but was thinking of giving it a go once I've finished the next few volumes of Invincible.
