For #screenshotSaturday I have the Crypt Bats (needed a 2nd Monster for Blind Mechanic):
HP- and WeaponClass is rolled randomly, then game calculates an amount of 1-4 Bats to display (representing danger level). Each Bat has idle movement.

#ruinsOfCalaworm is rework from obscure german Cult-#roguelike #Kalawaum (early 90s).
Finished working on the Pre-Menu. There's going to be an Ingame Menu eventually, but since Editor only works in Windowed Mode, I made this thing (Art by @EdjieArts):
#pureBasic's Gadget-Library works fine, but can be a bit finicky; eventually had it subjugated under my Divine Command, though. Here's the final (I think) design of the Pre-Menu:

There will be a "real" Menu, this is just to select where you want to go, since Editor only works in Windowed Mode.

First draft of Pre-Menu (via #pureBasic's GadgetLib) ... cuz reasons, Editor always works in Windowed Mode, for Game you may choose.
"Reroll World Seed"-Checkbox will later be part of the actual ingame menu, with more options.

Very early Version of #ruinsOfCalaworm, when Floor Types had unique properties (e.g. Water).
But it didn't work.
That was the first major cut I made ... sure hurt scrapping all that hard work, but in hindsight streamlining was the best decision.

Got the "Notes"-Module up and running; there's not a whole lot of deep story in #ruinsOfCalaworm, this being a tribute to classic #Roguelike-Genre and all, but now finding the odd scattered Note goes a long way towards fleshing out the setting a bit more ...

It's actually a Meter, growing from new to full, from a Minigame within my little #roguelike #ruinsOfCalaworm.
Before it looked like some random Planet, so I was like: "what makes a Moon look more moony, oh of course, a cloud!"
