@CommodoreBlog @mdf200 It only took me a few seconds to recognise that mountain range from the Lemmings 1 intro. But I was into another Lemmings game that hooked me. Lemmings 2: The Tribes. I thought they'd made a way more forgiving game. (It wasn't *easier*, you could just switch to another tribe.) 😁

@JudgeDrokk I did like those Thalamus loaders.
Even the loader was stylish, with Thalamus. 😎

@Lord_Arse Looking at it on YouTube, it looks like an okay conversion, for an 8-bit machine. 🤔 Back then I just *loved* the arcade game, and was desperate to play it in any form on the old home computer. 😁

@FREEZE64UK @DavidDarling Well, this just gets me wanting to play the extravagant MJ Music video now. 😁

After playing C64 "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego", naturally, I had to try the Amiga one next. It's a beautiful illustration of just how much more capable the machine is, and how well this game works with a mouse to select items. Not to mention the digitised sound-fx. 👍

@000Angus000 Probably the inspiration for the eating-mushrooms bit too. 😋

The objects you find in the game are often gems of various descriptions, that don't give much clue as to their power or effect. So, I suspect a lot of trial and error would have been needed to solve it. These days I don't have the patience for that, but I might try a walkthru. 😁
