@CrazyCollector1 I'm a teeny bit disappointed that the monsters appear to be quick-and-dirty monochrome conversions of the C64 sprites. I little bit of work to smooth the 2x wide pixels would have been nice. But hey, they've done a good job overall, so I can't complain too much. 😁
@CrazyCollector1 One Man and His Droid was one that I put a *lot* of time into on the C64. 🤔 The C64 version looked a whole lot like the ZX Spectrum version, but had some great SID sound-fx, combined with a foot-tappingly-good Rob Hubbard soundtrack.

@DelMurice Actually, an interesting way to have taken it, would be to leave the people as character-based objects, so no code needs to be changed for the fighting and movement. But make all the doorways and archways sprites. You'd need a multiplexor but minimal change to the game-code IMHO.
@tecM0 @BetaRaddish I liked that little musical bit it did when I launched.. Which was good, coz I heard it *so* much.
The sound of someone playing IO for the first time:
🎵 Da-da da-da da! Woosh ..
Boom! 💥
🎵 Da-da da-da da! Woosh ..
Boom! 💥
🎵 Da-da da-da da! Woosh ..
Boom! 💥
Game Over

@wolverinebruise @rhayadercompute ..sneezes..
*ship crashes*
..someone taps me on the arm..

This was why I liked Zeewolf: I could relax, and didn't have to be careful about my breathing, just to survive. 😁
@C64Reloaded I was well-practiced at this game as a kid, and could get quite far. These days I need to be alert, have a good controller, *and* have downed an energy drink to have half a chance. 😋
@C64Reloaded Every week is a good week if I get the chance to say how awesome Spy vs Spy is. 😁
@RetroCollect I'm glad I'm not the only one who totally wasn't grabbed by Zool. 😐 I tried to get into it, but man, those super-garish landscapes didn't help. Then I would go back to SuperFrog and Fire and Ice, or any of the myriad of other great platformers, and be "ah, that feels better." 😁
@C64Reloaded Winter Games!
Probably my favourite Games .. game. 😁
I think just about everyone liked the Biathlon. It could be played by almost anyone of any skill level, and if you were good at it, the time and target-hits would show it. Everyone loved the HotDog too, but it was harder. 😁
