@JazRignall Huh.. I didn't remember Warrior II rating so highly.
I'm with Garry Penn that it's a good game, but disappointing as a sequel. But the funny effect for me: I never understood the 3D effect of Psi Warrior — I saw it as 2D — until I saw Warrior II. Then I finally got it. 😁

@OldTechAdverts I love's me some Leaderboard.
(I haven't played the Executive Edition for a while.. Back in the day, I'd played the original Leaderboard a *lot*. Then the World Class Edition came out not long after I had the Executive one, so it was kinda forgotten.) 😁

@jivetolkein @davidmt @TheGavNinja @C64Retweets My brother and I both played around with the hacking-programs that would let you create a new LCP. We each ended up with a pet of our own that we really liked. It really was superbly programmed. Loading from disk in the background, and so many activities the wee guy could do. 👍

@jivetolkein @davidmt @TheGavNinja @C64Retweets I first played it on tape. [screenshots from the tape version] I'm impressed that they did different batches of people on the tape version. But I didn't realise for ages how cut-down it was compared to the disk version. When we got it on disk we loved finding what was changed. 😁

@cobbpg Haha.. I tried it on the SuperCPU in the VICE emulator (20MHz). It's crazy fast and just unplayable. Was fun to try though. 😁

I was amazed at how well this game ever ran on a standard C64 though. I first saw it on the Amiga, and never thought there would be an 8bit version. 🕹️

@C64Reloaded 10th Frame is really very good.
Simple and accurate representation of the game, done in the same way they did Leaderboard. 👍

@rexthedogge There is a version on the C64 Scene Database that's been optimised a little (15% faster screen refresh) and has a snazzy new loading screen (with sprites in the border and all.) 😮

@OldTechAdverts They were real quick to change that advert. I only saw it run for a month or two with the original artwork. Then there were screenshots or a company logo covering it. Till they could find time to get the poor girl another bra. 🤔 Maybe she was cold? She looks cold. 😋
