There are some visible artifacts going on with the frizzly part and the intersection between the arm and the body, but overall I'm happy with the result here.

Finally back to this. Starting with subdivided cube, used dynamic topology to create the initial shape, mostly SculptDraw and Move brushes. Great for free-form sculpting and really easy to add/reduce detail.

Making 3d models of some of the beta designs from Pokémon gold and silver, once beta cleffa is finished I'll probably create models for beta igglybuff and pichu! 🐁⚡️
