Also, dissect a bird. Diverticula right beneath the skin are all over the place, often for no clear reason (other than maybe streamlining).

At the Mill Canyon Bone Trail (near the recently damaged #Cretaceous tracksite) you can see actual #dinosaur bones from the #Jurassic #MorrisonFormation in the river sandstone that buried them. That site features skeletal diagrams by @skeletaldrawing
