That was a nice video from @chinnyvision on Carrier Command. I finally understand what the difference is between the game-types, and some good strategies for taking over the islands. 👍 Loved seeing the other conversions.. except the C64 one, of course. 😋

@LogrusUK @Al82_Retro @C64Retweets @EverythingC64 @C64TimeLine @C64Reloaded @C64Audio @C64Feed Yup. Both those were C64 screenshots.
I've collected a few more screenshots from that version now. Part of my "testing the hyperkin joystick" tweet-storm. 😁 Man, that game just wants to kill you without delay in the later levels. (So much that I was already cheating on level 2)
@TheTonyHansen @ausretrogamer But, continuing with the testing.. BC's Quest for Tires.
Not an especially demanding game, but a bit of dexterity helps. 👍 Just don't forget to activate the actual joystick control when you begin, or you might have a rather inauspicious start. 😋
@MarkRJones1970 My suggestions for today, from the pics in the last tweet: Toobin', Tube Panic, Bank Panic, Timber.
Some more that come to mind:
Blaster, Time Pilot 84, Rolling Thunder 2, Surprise Attack
👍
@MarkRJones1970 I downloaded the full MAME set a couple of years ago. It's just crazy-huge. 😮 I spent a some months pruning out all the non-working, pinball, and no-electronic-screen games. I was able to get it down to a more manageable 14 GB I think. Can't remember what I started at. 60? 80?
@TheGavNinja @JazRignall *That's* right! ..I knew there was something else they did. I think you told me that last time I was raving about Buggy Boy, and it totally blew my mind. 😁 I still like Karnath and Entombed. Their design is a bit random, but fun to explore. 🤔
