Starting to build up a flatter toon shader for my using Cycles ToonKit OSL nodes. This lets me do hard toon shading better, and also control shadow color. Their new version lets you set a world ambient color, which is handy. Also using some AO.

Wow after properly setting up the cel shader it looks even better! This is in Unity with realtime lighting. Not baked. Gonna be great in VR

I'm going to add a new shader using information you shared w/regard to normals. While many maps are good enough with bump maps-- it turns out images like this one just don't work with bump maps. Need normals! :-)
